Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine applies to illnesses and conditions of the entire body. PMA internal physicians (internists) are often the patient's primary care physician. They emphasize disease prevention and wellness. They can treat problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system, reproductive organs, mental health, and substance abuse for both men and women. The goal is overall patient wellness.
PMA internists are educated in diagnosing and treating chronic illnesses such as:
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Emphysema
- Heart Disease
- High Blood Pressure
- COPD
The PMA Internal Medicine group sees patients 18 years old and older. Patients are seen by appointment only. We currently accept most insurance, and are accepting new patients.
Outside the Office
Premier Medial Associates Internal Medicine internists may be seen in a variety of settings. One such place is the Western Pennsylvania Hospital Forbes Regional Campus and participating nursing homes.
